Smart business management for tradespeople

By creating an account or using Trade-Mates ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the Service. Trade-Mates is operated by Trade-Mates Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales.
Trade-Mates is a business management platform designed for tradespeople, including electricians, plumbers, builders, gas engineers, and other trade professionals. The Service includes lead capture and management, quotation building, job scheduling, invoicing, payment processing, team collaboration, and customer communication tools.
We offer the following subscription plans:
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and keep it updated. You must be at least 18 years old and legally authorised to operate a trade business in the United Kingdom to use this Service.
You agree not to:
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. The 30-day free trial requires no payment information. After the trial, you will be charged the applicable subscription fee until you cancel. You can cancel at any time; cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.
If you use the online payment feature to collect invoice payments from your customers, payments are processed by Stripe (or our nominated payment processor). Trade-Mates may charge a platform fee on each transaction, which will be disclosed before you enable the feature. Stripe's fees are separate and are set by Stripe.
You retain ownership of all data you upload to the Service, including customer information, leads, quotes, jobs, invoices, and photos. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to store and process your customers' personal data under the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018. We process your data as a data processor — see our Privacy Policy for details.
The Trade-Mates platform, including its design, branding, code, and features, is our intellectual property. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our written permission. Quotes, invoices, and other documents you generate through the Service remain your property.
We strive to maintain 99.5% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for downtime caused by maintenance, third-party outages (Supabase, Stripe, Resend, Twilio), internet connectivity issues, or circumstances beyond our control. We will provide notice of scheduled maintenance where possible.
Trade-Mates is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost revenue, lost leads, missed appointments, or data loss. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the preceding 3 months.
You are responsible for backing up critical business data. We recommend exporting your data regularly.
You can cancel your subscription at any time from the Settings page. Upon cancellation, your account remains active until the end of the current billing period, after which it is downgraded to a limited free tier. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are inactive for more than 12 months.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
